Calculation for grounding spreading resistance Rf for complex grounding conductor 1./ REINFORCED SLAB - RECTANGULAR SHAPE: The grounding conductor is laid in reinforced concrete slab and welded to the slab reinforcement of the building, thus that the surface of the slab can be defined as equipotential plane. Hence, the spreading resistance can be defined through equipotential diameter of surface covered by grounding conductor in reinforced slab, deduced to the circle area.
