A Fascinating Book
W H Y has there always been so much mystery and indefinite infor' mation surrounding the story of the Rosicrucians and their origin and purposes? W hy have the greatest writers of fiction, the great' est historians, and the greatest editions of encyclopedias found it impossible to get at the real facts of this od Brotherhood and its romantic, intriguing, alluring activities throughout all the ages? W hy has a veil been held over the monuments erected to the lives of eminent men and women who have been a part of this worthy fraternity? W hy should not the light of truth cast its beam upon the whole story, and bring to our modern realation an under^ standing of the most outstanding work in behalf of humanity that man has ever known?

Remember
This book was not written by one outside of the Order, but by Dr. H. Spencer Lewis, late Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order for North America, who was also a Legate and member of the Order in foreign lands. It does not contain the actual secret teachings of the Order, for these can never be put into a printed book, but it does contain extracts from ancient records and manuscripts, and it does contain bits of in formation, guidance, instruction, and help which every student of the occult, of metaphysics, of Freemasonry, and of Rosicrucianism, has desired for many years. This book tells the truth about many forms of Rosicrucianism throughout the world, and about the many attempts to imtate the Rosicrucian work that have failed, and always will fail, because of the strange power that protects the true Order and has kept it a living, vital factor in the lives of human beings for many centuries. Every page of the book is filled with thoughts that open the doorway to fascinating visions of foreign lands and ancient peoples, modern mysticism, and the miracles of today.
