Designed, implemented and troubleshot robotic interfaces for the connection of peripheral equipment including PLCs, weld timers, vision equipment and numerous others to various generations of Kawasaki robot controllers. Developed new technologies such as robotic communication with a MySQL database via a PC server as well as robot communication with touch screen HMIs. Assisted customers in solving more complicated robotic issues both on-site and over the phone. Designed, programmed and implemented control structure within a specified budget for a Laser Cladding cell. This involved handling the PLC, IO, Allen Bradley Servos, safety and the HMIs for the system as well as onsite installation, debug and startup of the cell. This database made it easy for the employees to perform analysis on data pulled from the lines.
