Total remittances for July-February 2013 were $9.2 billion, a 7.5% increase from the same period last year. Remittances from the UAE decreased by 2% while remittances from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries increased. The monthly average remittances for July-February 2013 were $1.15 billion, a 7.5% increase from the previous year.
