The Accounting & Financial Womens Alliance...

Your community within a large industry

As a non-traditional student, I appreciate the value of networking, and AFWA has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of great women in many different types of accounting and finance roles. Because of AFWAs focus on education, from the monthly CPE offerings to scholarships for students and those pursuing certification, my membership has been a great experience. Danielle White, Student and 2013 Paula Zanni Undergraduate Scholarship Winner, Phoenix, AZ Chapter It was through my membership in the Accounting & Financial Womens Alliance that I have been hired for two different jobs. Both of which were highly sought after within our community, offering a good salary and excellent benefits. I feel strongly that it was this organization that has helped me in my career path. Kelly Robertson, Fiscal Operations Manager, Northern Arizona University Foundation, Flagstaff, AZ Chapter

As a senior financial professional, AFWA has supported my career in numerous ways. I have made invaluable and long-lasting connections through chapter meetings and regional and national conferences, I have advanced my knowledge of relevant issues and trends by attending events with outstanding speakers, and I have honed my leadership skills through serving on committees and boards. Diane Lyngstad, MBA, VP of Finance, US Retail Group, Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN Chapter
