Carricr keying is included to provide an easy communication inter- face 10a modem/R-F. channel. The DICM is compatible swith all SY/MAX family processors and imtlligent devices 2.0 SPECIFICATIONS ‘Weight: 2.7 Ibs / 12 kg (approximate) Dimensions (WxHxD): 1.5 x 12.8 x 6.6 in, 3B x 325 x 16.8 em Ambient Temperature Rating: 0-60°C (operational) Humidity Rating: 0-95% non-condensing Current Draw on SY/MAX Power Supply: 430 mA. ‘Compatibility with SY/MAX W/O Racks: See Section 3.6 Reed Relay Contact Max. Switching Power: 35 VA (AC) 15 Wauts (DC) Initial Contact Resistance: 0.1 OHM maximum 3.0 HARDWARE CONSIDERATIONS 3.1 General ‘The Type CRM-601 Dual Interface Converter Module is a single width module similar in size 10 the Model 300 Programmable Controller. It can be plugged into any eepis- ter of CPU slot of a SY/MAX rack assembly. Nine indiea- {or lights provide indication of channel activity and power ‘Two RS-232 ports, two RS-422 ports, and two contact ports complete the front panel layout. The following paragraphs ‘explain the indicators and port functions. 9.2 Indicator Lights “The front panel contains one green and eight yellow Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to indicate power and channel ac- tivity. (See Figure 1.) Their functions are described below, Meaning tralcetor Light (When Hiuminated} pow Gen | leg ig la cq. Bs bg “Owe RS baad |, "ce mode vin2 (Wellow) ~ DTE mode: pin 3.
