Definicin

Es un musculo aplastado y cuadriltero, con un intersticio celuloso, ocupado por la expansin del msculo estilogloso. El msculo termina medialmente en el tabique lingual hasta el vrtice

Ejemplo/Contexto

Los dos hioglosos, al contraerse, dirigen la lengua hacia atrs y abajo. El hiogloso deprime y se retrae la lengua haciendo que el dorso de la lengua se vuelva ms convexo.
