4 Wheel Steering System using multiple switching

Synopsis: The main aim of the project is to design and develop a steering system in the real time environment using the power steering with multiple options for the driver. In this project we are using the steering and this is connected to the micro controller as shown in the block diagram below. The driver has a switch using which he can use any of the 3 options for driving. The 3 options provide are 1. The normal drive like any of the 4 wheelers . 2. 4 wheel drive system and the 3rd is the system where in when the front wheels turn right , both the back wheels will move left this giving the flexibility for the 4 wheeler to make the shorted possible turn. The switch data is sent to the vehicle using the wireless technology and the steering control is also sent using the same wireless medium. At the other end the receiver will get the data and then feed the same to the micro controller. The micro controller is programmed using the embedded program . This will then decide which motor to drive and in which direction depending on the steering position and the switch selected by the driver at that give point of time. The experimental set up is as shown in the block diagram below.
