Prayer Requests and Ministry Updates

May 2013 Video Prayer Letter This month I decided to put my prayer letter on video. I realize that some people will not be able to view the video so I have included the transcript below. Let me know what you think about the video idea. You can see the video here: http://youtu.be/tWLUiX7Bwbk Hi, this is BJ Schultz your missionary in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania Africa. I am sending this short video to spruce up our regular prayer letter. I hope you Lind it helpful. We are looking forward to our furlough in the next 2 weeks or so but before we leave Tanzania we have a lot of loose ends to wrap up. You may remember that in my last prayer letter I mentioned that we needed to Linish the roof on our newly built Sunday School room. We were only $850 shy of being able to complete the project. Praise the Lord many individuals and many of our supporting churches donated extra money just to help with this project. As you can see we have Linished the roof! In fact we received more money come in than what was necessary to buy the tin roof and the trusses and such so we decided we were going to go on a cruise- no, just kidding.

We are using the extra money to put in doors in the building to secure the building. We are going to paint the roof and put a stucco-like Linish on the walls and make it really nice and presentable. I cannot say thank you enough for your sacriLices, your prayers and your thoughts towards us and this ministry. I just cant say thank you enough. This is Paulo and he attends our Bible college, Lake Victoria Bible College. He is studying to be a pastor. I want introduce him to you to ask you to pray for him. While we are home on furlough he will be leading our congregation. He will be preaching every week as the Lord allows. Since we are the Lirst Baptist Church in this area we do things differently than other churches in this area. He will face some opposition. I am asking you to pray for him as he leads our church that it will continue to be strong and continue to be a light house and continue to see souls saved. Please pray for this young man, Abdula. He was a Muslim young man who I was able to

lead to the Lord about 4 weeks ago. I met him several times during our regular soul-winning outreach. Through the process of time and sharing with him the Love of God, he was able to be saved. This is William and Queeny and Suzlyn, their new baby. They were saved 3 weeks ago in our church. William grew up in the Kingdom Hall as a Jehovah witness but has since left to become a true worshiper of Jehovah Jesus Christ. One last item for prayer please pray about a future Christian school and church plant in this area. I will explain more in person when we present our ministry at our supporting churches this year. But for now I want to say that I have seen God at work in some great ways already concerning this future ministry. He has laid a strong burden on my heart to lay a new foundation in this country. We must reach the children of this country and teach them true Biblical doctrine. Only then will their behavior change and in turn their country will change.

Pray for our safety as we travel back to the US on May 28-29 Pray for our church to remain strong in our absence. Pray for the Lord to give us a piece of land according to his will. Pray that the Lord will clear the way and overcome all the red-tape that will be thrown at us in an attempt to slow us down.
