Conducts self in a professional manner (e.g., attendance, preparation, respect) Natalie was the definition of professional. She was here every day on time, dressed nicely, and had a lot of respect for the classroom and students. 2. Encourages development of a positive self-image in learners e.g., gets to know students, positive interactions with students) Natalie worked hard to be nothing but positive with the students. With her limited time for this field placement, it was hard for her to really get to know the students, so maybe next time dive right in to meeting the kids since you dont have a lot of time with them. 3. Interacts effectively with students, colleagues, administrators, parents This field placement really did not involve any parent interactions. She was very respectful to the office staff and students. 4. Demonstrates effective preprofessional teaching skills (e.g., planning, implementing lesson) Natalies lesson plans were very detailed and well thought out. She really planned lessons that the students would be interested in and put a lot of thought into them. The lessons she taught were engaging and compelled the students to want to learn more. 5. Communicates effectively through speaking, writing, and listening modes (e.g., gives clear directions, listens to students, uses media)

Natalie used various media (document camera, PowerPoint). Her directions were very clear. She did listen to students and adapted things when necessary.
