Hitler ensured that a culture of obedience became dominant in Germany. Under Hitlers rule German soldiers had to take an oath to give their life not for their

country and people but for Hitler.

pervaded not only in the military, but in all aspects of German society. Children had to hold up their hand and say Heil Hitler before they said Mama. The culture of obedience was also very present in schools children did not dare question their teachers.

Hitler also used the schools to spread his message of Jews as being inferior and that their very presence

could harm the health and prosperity of the German people.
