September 12, 2012 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of Biljana Temelkovska whom I taught and supervised during her elementary and secondary physical education methods and Sport module classes at Montclair State University. Throughout the experience Biljana demonstrated content knowledge, passion, creativity, dedication, and professionalism that is necessary to be a successful physical education teacher. Biljanas teaching experiences included the elementary and middle school level. With each teaching experience I saw a tremendous amount of growth and learning in Biljana as she adjusted to the students and their different developmental needs. She is flexible and versatile enough in her teaching demeanor and personality which allows her to fit in to any school and tailor her teaching to meet the needs of the students in that specific context. Biljanas teaching was repeatedly infused with innovative teaching styles and approaches to meet the needs of all students and accommodate all types of learning styles. Her lessons were very well sequenced with the appropriate progression necessary for skill learning and fostering of positive attitude toward not only physical education but a predisposition to engaging in a physically activity lifestyle. Her lessons were also repeatedly reinforcing interdisciplinary connections to maximize the learning potential of all material. She found new ways to teach old information to students and helped them to make connections to their life. It is easily recognizable that Biljana will not allow herself to be anything but an outstanding, student centered physical education teacher. She is dedicated and truly cares about helping students to see the bigger picture of health and physical education knowledge and skills are crucial to living longer lives. I am fully confident that Biljana is well equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a highly effective physical education teacher. She possesses the necessary pedagogical and theoretical knowledge which has been provided through the health and physical education program here at Montclair State University. However, more importantly Biljana is energetic, open, and receptive to trying new things and always keeps the students and their needs at the core of her teaching. She engages regularly in self-reflection in an attempt to be the best teacher with the most

effective lessons she can be for her students. She is also very easy to work with and would be an excellent colleague to share ideas and responsibilities with. I highly recommend Biljana for employment as a health and physical education teacher. She will continue to grow in her abilities and knowledge and be a wonderful addition to any health and physical education department and school staff.
