VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Driver

The United States Peace Corps/Madagascar is seeking a full-time Driver. The position is mostly based in Mantasoa (approximately seven months a year) and sometimes in Tana (approximately five months a year). The Driver will work up to six (6) days a week, when working in Mantasoa and five (5) days a week when in Tana. Due to the nature of the Drivers duties and the full-time status of the contractor, occasionally the Driver will be required to work a holiday or come in with little advance notice. In addition, the selected candidate will sometimes travel inside Madagascar when not working in Mantasoa. The duties of the Driver include, but are not limited to: driving staff, Volunteers, and Trainees in town and out of town, picking up and delivering mail and packages, maintaining daily vehicle logs and performing basic maintenance on vehicles, and moving equipment and furniture.
