Guess who I am Aim: this is an extremely simple game which requires very little preparation. Ideal for beginners to practice simple questions about people. Each student chooses a card with the name of a famous person or character on it. From that moment the student becomes him/her. The card mustnt be shown to the rest of the class. The other students must guess the name on the card by asking his partner simple questions like these, for example: Are you a real person or a fictional character? Im a ...... Are you a man or a woman? Im a ...... How old are you? Im ............ years old. Where are you from? Im from............. Where do you live? I live in............ Whats your job? Im a/an ........... Have you got any children? Yes, I have / No, I havent. Are you married? Yes I am/ No Im not. For fictional characters: What colour are you? Im ........... Are you a cartoon? Yes I am / No Im not Are you an animal? Yes I am / No Im not What colour are you clothes? My clothes are......... Variation: you can make the game more fun by attaching the card to a students forehead or your own, so that everyone can read the name on the card except that person. The aim of the game is that the person with the card on his/her forehead must find out the character by asking questions to the rest of the class. Example: Am I an actor / a woman / Italian.....?
