Birthday plate: 1. Clean plate completely (front only) with alcohol soaked cotton ball.

(MUST DO THIS BEFORE YOU BEGIN). Let it dry completely before painting. 2. Choose design or come up with your own. 3. Using carbon paper, trace your design(s) on your plate with pencil. Make sure to put the carbon paper with the black side on the plate between your design and plate. You may need to move the paper on the lettering as it may not be long enough. 4. Remove carbon paper (DO NOT DISCARD!!! Can be used over and over again) and outline your design with paint pens. 5. Color in design (if desired) with paint pens or paints. NOTES: If you want to layer colors, you need to use the paints (NOT PENS!) and let completely dry in front of fan before you do any layering. When base coat is dry, go back over with paints (NOT PENS!!) Using pens will scrape off the paint you just did. If you make a mistake with the paint pens, simply wipe off mistake with alcohol and start over. Paints can be wiped off with a dry cloth. Please do not mix paint pens (just like markers, they will pick up any color you have already painted. Paints are NOT permanent until they are cured! Final plate needs to dry completely and be cured at home. This can be done by placing plate in cool (nonpreheated) oven and baking it at 375 F for 30 minutes. Allow plate to cool with oven door open. Do not served meals directly on plate. Utensils may scratch paint and cause flaking. If you have questions, please see a steering team member!

Wreath: Take 6 strips of chevron fabric and wrap around wreath, attaching with hot glue as you attach each strip. Embellish with felt flowers. You do not need to glue as you go. Just glue the ends of the fabric to the wreath as you wrap them. Suggestion for flowers: Simple felt flower: Cut 3 circles and fold in half. Roll up to resemble a rosette. Cut to off bottom and glue to wreath. Once glue is dry, you can fluff the flower. Foofy flower:
