1. An NCCA solution was prepared by following a simple filtration. 2.

The solution was prepared by filtering water through the NCCA powder to make 200mL of concentrated filtrate. 3. 50mL of 0.1M HCl was poured into a burette. 4. 10mL of NCCA solution was poured using a pipette into a flask. 5. 3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator were added to the NCCA solution to change its color to dark pink. 6. HCl from the burette was slowly added to the flask until a color change appeared. 7. Two more trails were done following steps 4-7 to validate the results. 8. The results of all three trials were recorded.
