Many concentration camps were established, but probably the most well known was Auschwitz. Many of the weak were killed right away, to survive you had to be strong. Children went through losing their families, starving, confusion and medical experiments.

hatred towards the Jews. The first Action taken to show this was by banishing Jews from government jobs and the Nuremburg Laws were passed in 1935 which took away many common rights of the Jews.
Not long after their rights
were taken the Jews were deported to Ghettos were they would be separated from the rest of society. Jews were forced to live under miserable conditions in the Ghettos. There were at least 1,000 Ghettos established during World War II. These Ghettos were just a place to store the Jews until Hitler decided how to get rid of their population.
When the “Final Solution”
came into existence all the Jews in the Ghettos were murdered in killing centers. The few that were left alive got deported into concentration camps. Many concentration camps were established, but probably the most well known was Auschwitz. It was the largest and consisted of three main camps. Prisoners that included Jews, polish, homosexuals, blacks and mentally & physically challenged were all sent here and put to work. Many of the weak were killed right away, to survive you had to be strong. When looking back on the Holocaust there is no way you could forget about the children and what they went through. Children went through losing their families, starving, confusion and medical experiments.
Children were viewed as useless
when it came to working in the concentration camps so they were either killed or used in medical experiments and sometimes died during these experiments. Joseph Mengele was the lead doctor taking part in the medical experiments at Auschwitz. He was often referred to as the “Angel of Death” because of his cruel and unusual experiments that often lead to death of the patients. He liked to use children a lot in his experiments, sadly the children had a slim chance of survival. After the war he was never found, but is thought to have suffered a massive stroke while swimming in the ocean and drowned. Hitler was found dead with a gunshot to his right temple along with Eva Braun who was also dead from swallowing poison. SURVIVORS The Holocaust
