Dominic 208# The Berlin Wall Recently, I saw a picture of the Berlin Wall.

The East which is communist had built the Wall to keep the West which was free away. The wall had different layers. The first is brick slabs which are four and a half feet tall. The second has two rows of big brownish gray blocks which total about two and a half feet tall. The last layer is a big, light gray cinder blocks which they added later to the wall so people could not look over it to see other people and families. The last layer is barbed wire which is on top of the wall. Rebar was bent towards the east and the west and had sharp rusty barbed wire on it. In the foreground, there is also a bunch of twisted, rusty, and mangled up barbwire to keep people from coming close to the wall. Instead of a happy and loud sound there was a sound of sorrow.
