    Reporter cannata@nbcactionnews.com Bridget joined NBC Action News in March, 2004. She was born and raised in San Francisco, the third of five children. Bridget graduated from UCLA with a degree in English and Spanish. She then earned a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. During her junior year of college, Bridget spent a semester in Sevilla, Spain, where she lived with a Spanish family and grew to love the Spanish way of life...long days, late lunches and siestas! Bridget comes to Kansas City from WBTW in Florence/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
