The national Statistic Office conducts the 2012 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries to collect and compile data

on the countries Agriculture and Fishery sector. I have two Barangay Enumeration areas with two segments each. Before we start the enumeration I assist the DSO to allocate and distribute the materials needed for listing and enumeration including the maps. February 25, 2013 I have my courtesy call to the Brgy. Captains in each barangay assigned to us to inform them that the Census of Agriculture and fisheries is on going until April 13, 2013. During the field of enumeration the enumerator assigned in Barangay Dumangas Nuevo do listing of household because the resident afraid to give details about the area that they are farming because of the case against Buenaflor family. February 26, 2013 I visited the area together with the EN and try to convince and explain the purpose of this CAF 2012. During the 3rd day of enumeration we have a discussion with my EN assigned to Barangay Sta. Maria about the boundary but later on it was settled. Other respondent did not declare that they are operator of the land they are farming because they are afraid that it will effect to their 4 Ps (Pantawid Pamilya Pililpino Progaram). Also there is a rumors that the barangay captain of Barangay Dumangas Nuevo try to convince the EN to list additional household in order to increase their barangay IRA but this is not true. In collecting forms I have no problem encountered because the ENs submits in time. This CAF 2012 assessment during the training most important is to pay attention during discussion in order to understand well. During the enumeration Ive notice that it is very important to know the importance of this CAF 2012 and its purpose as a TS it is important to convey the enumerator to gather and collect the correct data. My suggestion and recommendation its much better if the enumeration is a resident of the barangay enumeration area so that it is not hard for them in terms of mapping because she or he familiar the area.
