Studied in depth the works of James Baldwin, Toni Morrison, and Richard Wright using Psychoanalytic analysis 2013 Examined American political institutions, behaviors, and policies through the analytic lens of gender and feminism. 2012 Studied and practiced pedagogical techniques and methods involving exceptional learners. Participated in a 15 hour service learning and Mountain View High School. 2012 Worked under the direction of the English Department Chair and Instructor of the course to learn about different academic disciplines and forums. Attended and participated in seven different academic events and wrote scholarly summary/analysis essays for each. 2011 Studied various educational psychological theories and observed classroom behaviors in a public school environment.
