OBJECTIVES At the end of the course, the students are expected to be able to: 1. Apply semantic mapping in mastering vocabulary about health 2. Classify the words based on the topic/ core concept, each category and expanding their ideas 3. Master the target words at least 14 words each meeting (7 nouns, 7 verbs) and find out the meaning of the target words.

Students worksheet Read the text carefully Dr. ADAMS HOSPITAL I lived in a little town, where there is a hospital namely Dr. Adam Hospital. It is not big but a good one. Yesterday, I went there because I wanted to know more about the hospital. I asked the matron who manages the nursing staff to explain the hospital. First, I asked the reason why the hospitals name was Dr. Adam. She told me that Dr. Adam was the first doctor who led that hospital long time ago. He was a good doctor. To honor him, the people named the hospital after his name. Dr. Teguh was the tenth leader until now. Second, the matron introduced all of the occupations such as doctors, names (dentist, surgeon, psychiatrist and pediatrician), the nurses and midwife, and some explanations about their jobs. Third, I was taken to some rooms, such as waiting room, operating theatre, pharmacy, mortuary, radiology department, maternity, wards, laboratory. Then, I was also introduced to a few tools that were needed in the hospital such as bandage, injections, stethoscope, crutches, wheel chair, stretcher, etc. Before leaving, I thanked her for giving me a lot of information I want to be a doctor in the future, I study hard and read many scientific books.
