GPA Program Ver 1.

5 Last Update:11/11/99 5::00 AM __________________________________________________________________________ This program is created to help in GPA calculations for GIKI students. It does t he following: 1. Calculates semester GPA 2. Calculates GPA for random courses. 3. Calculates CPGA with built-in courses database -- It can also take your existing CPGA & credit hrs and start calculating CPGA f rom there. 4. Calculates target GPA on the basis of current information to cross a particul ar barrier CGPA. -- As a by product, you can also use it to sum the total credit hours done. -- Unnecessary checks has been avoided to give full freedom to users, only essen tials checks are introduced. IMPORTANT -- The mdb and exe file must be copied to the same foler on your own PC, This pr ogram will NOT run from a network computer __________________________________________________________________________ USAGE -- Where-ever you see a list control, you can double click in it to remove the s elected course. -- You DON"T need to select the course to put its grade. Just press the grade an d it will be assinged to the course next in order as it appears on the list. -- You can select a faculty program from the combo box in CGPA dialog and select the courses of your choice by double clicking. They will move to the parent dia log where calculations can be made wth them. FURTHER ON USAGE -- If you have entered the grades of all the courses and want to change the grad e of a course which maybe present there in the middle, the easy way is to delete that course and add it at the end again. -- In CGPA dialog, the list items (i.e courses) and check boxes are tied togathe r. You can play around with it. If you add a full semester with the check box an d then delete a course in it by dbl clicking, you can safely uncheck that button and it will remove only the remaining courses in that semester present in the l ist. -- About colours, I primarliy used them for debugging and left them as it is. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This program gives correct results and is tested, however if you find any errors , please do report.
