Note: This is a true scrap project, get all of your small balls of leftover yarn and get started! - Dritz (brand name) Plastic Rings in three sizes: 1 , 1 1/8, and 1

Crochet Hook: 6.0mm [US-J] Gauge: Dont worry about it! There is no gauge because you are crocheting on the rings, all you need to know is how to CH and SC. Finished Measurements: Whatever size you want them. You have ultimate freedom to make the jewelry any size you want. Once you learn the technique you can get creative and make lots of variations on what we have shown you. You can even make rings and earrings out of this technique! Purple Necklace

Use CD and 14 Rings in size 1 1/8 to make the one pictured. As pictured below, take your first ring and tie a knot to start your necklace.

Perform a SL ST with this loop. Now you will have one loop on your hook for the rest of project so you can perform SCs. SC 12 times in the ring, push them all together (it should take up approx. half of the ring once you do this). CH 2. Join the next ring as shown below in picture. Note: After each SC, tighten the stitch to be flush with the ring, otherwise your circles may be lopsided if your stitches arent consistent.

Next put your hook through the middle of the hook and draw up a loop as the picture below shows. Insert hook through ring as you did for the first ring.

Yarn on the right

then bring bottom loop up to top loop and join the ring to form a complete circle. Note: Make sure your necklace is untwisted before you join it. Now continuing down the other side of your necklace you will SC 12 and SL ST 2 times in the CH 2 STS. Complete all 14 rings and SL ST the last ch 2 STS. Fasten off and weave in end. Pink Necklace

Grab your yarn with the hook, notice the yarn placement coming from the existing necklace is on the right of the hook.

Use CA and 20 rings in 1 size. Yo, pull up loop through ring. Keep this first SC close to the CH 2 you just performed. Tighten it as you go. Follow instructions for the purple necklace with these following changes: Note: Instead of performing 12 SCs on each side, you will only perform 10 SCs. You will still use CH 2 in between rings. Pink and Taupe Necklace

Finish your SC and continue your 12 SCs on this ring. Continue this process until you finish all 14 rings. CH 2 after 12 SC on last ring,

Use CA and CC and 18 rings in 1 size Use CA and follow the instructions for the purple necklace up to last 2 CHs on the last ring before joining. Note: You will only use 10 SCs for the 1 rings, not 12 SCs as in the purple necklace. Next join CC by pulling up a loop on the last CH of CA. Fasten off CA. Continue down the other side with CC following the purple necklace instructions. Note: Hide your tails of the color change in the stitches of the necklace. Lay them along the ring and make the scs around them like they were part of the ring. Cut off any ends that stick out. Aqua and Taupe Necklace

Adult Aqua Bracelet

Use CB and 5 rings in 1 1/8 size Follow instructions for purple necklace. Childs Purple and Taupe Bracelet

Use CD and CC and 4 rings in 1 size Use CB and CC and 8 rings in 1 size and 8 rings in 1 1/8 size. Follow instructions for purple necklace with these following changes: Hold two yarns together to get striped effect. Perform 10 SCs for 1 rings Perform 8 SCs for 1 1/8 rings Follow instructions for Pink and Taupe Necklace. Final Note: Now get creative and think of the different ways you can complete these necklaces, adding beads, different CH spaces in between rings, the possibilities are endless.
