Donation Time!
When you are done with anything in your house, make sure it still works, and then you can donate it. You can donate things to your friends, or to other families. You can even send it to donation stores; another way to donate is a garage or yard sale. Gather up any items in your house that you and your family dont use anymore, and put a price tag on it, then you set it out, and wait for people to come and buy it. Or you could even just set out those things in your driveway, and put a free sign in front, if you dont want to sit out in the sun all day.
Reuse
Goodwill is a good place to donate items youre done with so others can use them again.
Recycle
When you recycle, you put give things to a place, and they make new thing out of them. Many people do this.

How to Recycle
There are many things you can recycle like paper, glass, plastic, cardboard, and even batteries. When we recycle, it goes to a place called Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), where it is sorted. They are sorted into different groups of materials, either by hand, or by machine. After that, it is sent to manufactures to be made into new materials. Once they have been collected and sorted, recycling becomes a valuable item to the worldwide market. We have been recycling for many years, and if we keep it up, the world could be a way better place.

Walk/Bike to School
Do your parents drive only you to school every morning, and pick only you up every day? Well if they do, there is a way to stop all that car gas pollution. If you are within a mile from your school you can walk, or ride your bike there. Gather up some friends, and go together. It is also a good way to get in your daily exercise.
Carpool
If you are the only one in your car when you drive to school, ask your friends if they want a ride to school, and you will save gas from five cars driving there, and reduce that to one car with 5 people. This saves us gas, and helps others get to school too.
