The students will demonstrate their knowledge of the rules and skill of basketball by scoring 70% or better on a written basketball test. Affective: 1. Sportsmanship checklist

AGENDA Time 0-5 Agenda- Include detailed instructions for activities and transitions here Warm-Up/Introduction Explain lesson then spread out in lines Run in place on whistle alternate between burpie, jumping jack, 5 claps, rotate to right / left defensive position Run around gym grab a ball from basket and dribble to next basket Lesson Focus/Content Development Line up in 12 lines on baseline (6 per side) Drills Have students line up in 4 lines. The first shooter will dribble in and shoot the ball then line up at the end of the rebound line on the other side of the court. The first person in the rebound line will rebound the ball and pass the ball to the next person in the shooting line then line up at the end of the shooting line. This will continue for 3 rounds. Then switch the lines and make the shooting line the rebound line and the rebound line the shooting line to work the other direction. If you are on the camera side watch your shot after shooting. Then line up. Teaching points, extensions, challenges, safety, accommodations Make sure the students are warming up paying attention. Make sure they keep their spacing and remain safe. Control with whistle

Layup cues Make sure that the students are aiming at the backboard and not just throwing the ball in the air. Make sure they are dribbling the ball until they go to shoot.

Culminating Activity Small games of 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 Closure review of the activity and game

Good sportsmanship Work on the layup in the game. Make sure you have good sportsmanship and are a leader in the game. Ask for the things they worked on to make a basket must raise hand to answer.

One balls per side rebounder gives to first person in shooting line. Shooter goes to the end of the line on the opposite side of the court. If on the camera side watch shoot then go to line.
