MATERIALS: I will have prepared for you, either in written or electronic form the course information. I may bring handouts from time to time. COURSE OBJECTIVE: To provide you with information about how to practice law in a small to medium size law firm in Illinois successfully and as an ethical advocate for your clients. FORMAT: Lecture and dialog. We will have three guest lecturers who each have been practicing attorneys for over twenty years. I am interested in your ideas and questions. No question is ever bad. TESTS: We will have a written take home examination at the end of the course. You can refer to anything you want but you cannot collaborate with a classmate. I can make myself available usually after class for any questions you may have. Usually, you can find me in the library before class.
