Our high-quality programs are nationally recognized Electrical Engineering: accredited by ABET Chemistry & Biochemistry: accredited by the American ChemicCJ.I Society Radiation Therapy/Medical Dosimetry: accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology Class sizes llle small - 15 to 20 students. The Suffolk STEM community is close-knit and nuturing. All classes are taught by professors, not graduate students. They view teaching as their top priority, and will challenge and support you. Students have the opportunity to conduct independent research under the guidance of faculty. Our Friedman Field Station, located in coastal Maine, provides students with a living laboratory for observing and studying marine life. Our students get internships & jobs at such notable organizations as Raytheon, the Boston Crime Lab, Mass General Hospital, & Phoenix Electric Corp. Our majors go to prestigious graduate schools (e.g. MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Cornell, and Northeastern) and to professional sc1;1001s (e.g. mediCine, dentistry, nursing, and physical therapy). A new building featuring state-of-the-art laboratories is slated to open in the fall of 2015.
