Tristan Taormino's Anal Advisor Butt Plugs and Submission My Mistress would like me to wear a butt plug daily.

Ive agreed to a small one, but she really wants me to wear a large one because she thinks that a bigger plug will make me more submissive to her. Is it possible and harmless? Plugged-up Slave Wearing a butt plug every day is possible and harmless, as long as you use plenty of lube, and you warm up your ass with fingers or a smaller toy first. You should be aware of a butt plug, but it should not feel uncomfortable or painful at all. If you plan to wear it for several hours, you should work your way up in small increments in order to allow your body time to adjust to the new activity; in other words, if youve only ever had a plug in for fifteen minutes, dont try it for four hours. As to the matter of your level of submissiveness, only you and your Mistress can really answer that. A bigger plug may make you more aware of your ass, and, by extension, help you focus on your dedication and service to your Mistress. But the size of a butt plug alone does not affect ones level of submission bigger does not always inspire better. Butt Plug Harness in Public Restroom Restrictions My partner and I are in a permanent Dominant/submissive relationship, and have been experimenting with anal sex for over two years now. We both get a lot of pleasure out of it. He likes to have me wear a locking harness to keep a butt plug in place while we go out to dinner and a movie. The trouble is, after about an hour, I need to use the restroom and must remove it. What can I do prior to harnessing up that will allow me to be able to wear the harness for a longer time? Should I change my diet prior to the excursion? Anal Slut in Texas The amount of time you can wear a butt plug depends upon your personal bathroom schedule, and everyones particular time table varies greatly. It sounds like youre an evening bathroom goer, and that youve got a pretty fast metabolism (because shortly after eating, you have to go to the bathroom). In order to prolong your butt plug wearing, I suggest that dinner time be moved. You could eat dinner, wait to have a bowel movement, then get locked in your harness for several hours. Or perhaps you can have an outing with the butt plug in your ass that doesnt involve food, then, after the scene is over, treat yourself to a meal. If the outing must include dinner, than perhaps your Top should insist that you watch him eat, while youre limited to water only (sorry to give him tips from my sadistic Top self, but you did ask). If youre a good girl, maybe hell feed you after youve held that butt plug in long enough!

Long Term Butt Plug Wear My boyfriend would like to insert a butt plug and have me wear it overnight. Is it safe to do so? Denise, New York, NY I assume that you and your boyfriend are experienced anal players if hes cooked up this little plan for you. Id like to address your question and also talk about wearing butt plugs in general for readers who may be less experienced. For many people, the feeling of fullness one gets from having a butt plug inserted is highly pleasurable, and some like to extend that pleasure for various lengths of time. My friend Susan wears a butt plug on long traveling excursions by car and train; she says it makes the time go faster. I know another woman who likes to wear a butt plug out on a date, in order to begin foreplay over dinner at a restaurant. Through each course of the meal, she is reminded of her ass, and with every shift in her seat, she prepares her ass for bigger things to come. Ive also heard of plug lovers who like to wear a butt plug out in public just for the hell of it. These folks carry on everyday activities with a big smile on their faces. They like the feeling that they know something the rest of the world doesnt. They are having a naughty sexual experience in public that no one else knows about but them! Wearing a butt plug out in public or for an extended period of time can be hot, fun, and sexy, and here are a few tips to make it even better. First, you should work your way up slowly. Begin by wearing a butt plug for a half hour, see how it feels, how you like it, what works and what doesnt. If your thirty minute excursion goes well, try an hour next time. Continue building up the amount of time (in reasonable increments) that you wear the plug. Like anything else you out in your ass, the butt plug should be well lubricated. You may want to consider taking it out every hour, re-lubing it and reinserting it. Some of you purists may consider this cheating, but keep in mind that the lube will be absorbed by your body eventually, and the plug may get uncomfortable. You have a number of options when it comes to making sure the plug stays securely in your ass and wont fall out. You can purchase a butt plug harness which looks very similar to a dildo harness and does the job quite nicely. Sometimes a very tight pair of underwear, briefs, or a thong will keep it in, depending on the size of the plug and how strong those sphincter muscles are. My girlfriend loves to make a rope harness for me that runs between my legs. When I move, the rope rubs against both the plug in my ass and my pussy giving me a double sensation I just love. If you do use rope, make sure its not too tight and that its soft rope that doesnt chafe or burn. Dont make complicated knots that are not easy to remove in case you have to do it in a hurry. Wearing a butt plug for a long time wont block anything unless you need to have a bowel movement, and then (common sense) take it out, go to the bathroom, and you can put it back in. Finally, on to your question about wearing a butt plug overnight. If you are very experienced with wearing butt plugs for long periods of time, I say, go for it. Make sure to use lots of lube, and you should probably take it out first thing in the morning when you wake up!

I am curious about the prolonged use of a butt plug. I have read stories where a submissive will wear a butt plug all the time except to relieve themselves. This is a very exciting idea to me and I am wondering if that would be workable in reality. What damage to ones health can occur from extended use of a butt plug? Thanks, Pet Reply by David: Hello, pet wrote: >I have read stories where a submissive will wear a butt plug all the time except to relieve themselves. >This is a very exciting idea to me and I am wondering if that would be workable in reality. Yes, it is workable, providing you take some precautions. Some common sense rules include:1. If it it hurts - stop! 2. Make sure the butt plug cannot get lost inside, so secure it to something external (such as a butt plug harness). 3. Keep it short and not too wide, and not too thin to qualify as being called sharp or likely to penetrate the delicate internal flesh. (No pencil-shaped items or similar!) 4. Make sure it is ultra smooth, cannot break, and cannot splinter. 5. Use a water based lubricant. >What damage to ones health can occur from extended use of a butt plug? Over-stretching of the external sphincter muscle is one thing that might happen if you go for permanent or long term use of something which keeps it open. So don't! For long term wear, I suggest you use a plug that allows the external sphincter to grip a narrowed part with a slightly wider but very short part protruding on the outside, and a not very long part on the inside. The idea of this is that not only does the sphincter muscle grip the plug in a way that reduces the risk of it going all the way in, but you allow the sphincter to almost close fully, and thus avoid over stretching that muscle. You can also tie something to the narrow part to allow you to retrieve the plug should it get lost up there. -David Posted by: pet | link | edited and published January 30, 2007 07:01 AM Thank you for the detailed information. I'll remember to mention "no pencils please." You said to use water based lubricant and I'm wondering why that is? i have been using silicone based lubricant with a rubber butt plug - can silicone lubricant be harmful?

I know you are not supposed to use silicone with silicone toys because it will dissolve the toy. The reason I would prefer to use silicone lube is that it seems to last longer than the water based. -Pet Posted by: David | link | edited and published January 30, 2007 12:35 PM Hello, pet wrote: >You said to use water based lubricant and Im wondering why that is? It was the quickest way to safely skip the long lubricant discussion and get to your "extended use" question. Lubricants that are water soluble are generally the least irritating to the body and mucous membranes. You asked about issues with the prolonged use of the butt plug, so I wanted to concentrate on the issues with longer term wear. For long term use, I'd be happier with something more compatible with the anus, and less likely to provoke a reaction. For use in the vagina it is recommended to use a water based lube that doesn't contain glycerine. Not being a doctor, I'd say that would be a good policy for longer term insertion into the anus. >can silicone lubricant be harmful? It is generally regarded as safe, and is used on many condoms. But of course, personal and or allergic reactions can vary. Some folk find silicone lingers and is harder to wash off than a water based lube. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin irritation in some folk. A good general rule is water for internal, oil for wanking, and silicone if it's compatible. >I know you are not supposed to use silicone with silicone toys because it will dissolve the toy. You do have to be careful with Vaseline (petroleum) and silicone in selecting the right lube for the toys you are using. If you get a good thick water based lube you won't have to worry. >The reason I would prefer to use silicone lube is that it seems to last longer than the water based. That is true. But lubrication for a lot of movement should not be such an issue for you, as you were discussing long term wearing. For anal play, the general rule is that you can't have too much lube. Whack it on in shovelfuls. But in your case, once it is inside and comfy, it may be that less is best in terms of reducing potential for irritation. If you are not getting any adverse reactions, and your toys are compatible, then stick with what works for you. The ideal types of butt plugs for longer term wear, (small with flared base seems to be the general consensus). Several folk discuss the various lubricants, from vegetable oil, to silicone and vaseline depending to a degree on what material the plug is made from. Sincerely, David
