At QUBEE we strive to make your internet experience nothing less than magical. This user guide is to help you get started with your QUBEE connection and to discover the limitless possibilities of the internet.

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT YOUR QUBEE CONNECTION.

QUBEE has a range of Monthly and Pre Pay Packages to suit your internet needs. Here are some very important facts about your Monthly Package:

It is very important that you check your contact information (email, phone number etc.) through Web Self-Care [please see the Web Self Care section] Please retain your copy of the SAF (Subscriber Acquisition Form) for any future reference. Monthly Package users need to clear their bills within the rst 8 days of the month every month. Pre Pay users need to rell their balance through Pre Pay scratch cards. If you face any problems with your connection please call our call center at 8959911 or visit your nearest QUBEE store for support. To get a full list of QUBEE stores please visit http://www.qubee.com.bd/ You can also get store locations . through SMS Store Locator. Type QB<space>DH (for Dhaka)/CH (for Chittagong)/SY (for Sylhet)<space> [your location example: Banani] and send this text to 2777. In a return SMS you will get the nearest stores address.

SHUTTLE
The Shuttle is a plug and play device and does not require any external power source. This device has a high signal gain that lets you move around with your laptop within the QUBEE network.

Please follow the step by step guide to setup your Shuttle modem: Step 1: Connect your Shuttle modem to your computer through the USB cable. Wait for the Autoplay window to open. Click on WiMAX Installation Disk from the Autoplay window. Step 2: An installation window will open where you need to click Next. Step 3: In the following screen select the I accept the agreement option and click Next. The modem driver will start installing. Step 4: Press Finish once the installation is complete. A user interface will open and an icon ( ) for your Shuttle connection will appear on your desktop .

Step 5: Press Menu button and select the Settings option. Click on the Authentication tab, type your username and password and press OK. [Whenever you change your password in the future you need to update the password here to connect]. Step 6: Your modem will connect within a few seconds and you will see this screen when it is connected.

ROVER V.2
The new super light portable 4G modem. Compatible wiht all operating systems (Windows, iOS, Linux).

Please follow the step by step process to install your QUBEE modem:

Step 1: Open any browser (Exp: Opera, IE, Chrome etc.) and type: http://192.168.1.1 Step 2: Now select your package type (Monthly or Pre Pay) and put your User name and Password. Now press Connect to Finish the login process.

DONGLE
This device is best for use when on the go. Connect and roam within the QUBEE network with 4G connectivity.

Please follow the step by step process to install your Dongle modem: Step 1: Connect the Dongle modem to your computers USB port. Wait for the Autoplay window to open. Click on WiMAX Installation Disk from the Autoplay window. Step 2: Click Continue in the new window that opens. The driver will automatically install in your computer. Step 3: Once the installation is completed, the login screen will pop up. Type your user name and password in the elds. Press Connect. [if you change your password in the future, you will need to change your password in this tab and press Connect.] Step 4: You are now connected to the QUBEE network.

The Dongle, with its plug and play feature, provides an excellent solution for connectivity with convenience and high speed.

ROVER
The all new Rover is designed to perfection, sleek, small and powerful. Compatible with MAC, Windows and Linux platforms.

Go through the following guide to set up your Rover modem with your QUBEE connection: Step 1: Open any browser (ex: safari, chrome, opera etc.) and Type: http://192.168.1.1 to open the log-in portal.

Step 2: Now Click the Log In button and choose your package type (Pre Pay or Monthly Package), enter your QUBEE user name and password. Now press Save to nish the Log-in. You can check your network status and other modem related information by clicking Connection.

GIGASET
Gigaset is a robust device, perfect for indoor and oce internet connections.

Go through the following guide to set up your Gigaset modem with your QUBEE connection: Step 1: Connect the Gigaset modem to a power source through the power cable provided. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the modem and the other end to the PC. The LAN LED will light up and turn green. Step 2: Open a browser window (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari etc.). Type http://192.168.3.1 in the address bar and press Enter. Once the page loads, press Ok. Step 3: Click on Advanced Settings option.

Step 4: Type your user name and password (twice). In the future, if you change your QUBEE password, you will need to update the new password here to connect to the network.

Step 5: Click Administration then Restart. Wait till your modem restarts.

Step 6: You are now connected. You will see the status change from Disconnected to Connected.

TOWER
Use this modem to connect with as many devices as necessary on a wireless network.

Please follow the step by step guide to setup your Tower modem: Step 1: Connect the Tower modem with a power source through the power adapter. Now connect the LAN cable with the modem and the other end to your computers LAN Port. Step 2: Open a browser window, type http://10.1.1.254 in the address bar and press Enter. When the page is loaded type admin as User Web Access ID and type admin in the password box. Press Log on to continue. Step 3: When the page loads, click on the WiMAX tab on the top ribbon. Type your user name and password in this page and press Apply. Step 4: Now click on the Networking tab and from the left pane click the WiFi button. On this page you need to click on the drop down menu at the Use Default section and select User dened. Press Next button at the bottom. Step 5: On this page, you need to change the SSID to the name you want to view your WiFi network as. Then in Security Settings change the security mode to WPA2-PSK and provide a network key in the WPAPSK eld. Press Apply. Step 6: You are now ready to be connected through any WiFi device and your WiFi connection will show the name you typed in the SSID eld in the previous step. You need to type the security key that you dened at the WPAPSK eld to be connected through your WiFi network.

POCKET WiFi
The Pocket WiFi is a device which gives you all the exibility of being mobile with a high speed internet connection. From a device thats the size of your palm, you get a powerful WiFi connectivity around you where ever you take this device.

Please follow the step by step guide to setup your Pocket WiFi modem: Step 1: Turn on the device. Wait for a while for the device to initialize and stabilize all the lights. Step 2: Make sure your Laptop/ Desktops WiFi adapter is turned on. Search for the available WiFi signals from your computer. You will nd a new WiFi connection named QUBEE Playground. Connect to that WiFi network. The password to connect to this WiFi is playtodiscover. Step 3: Open a browser and type: http://192.168.0.254 in the address bar. When the page loads type System as user name and System as password. Then click Login. Step 4: Once logged in click on the WiMAX option from the top ribbon and select the Settings option from the drop down menu. Step 5: Type your QUBEE User ID in the Inner NAI (ID) eld and your Password in the Inner NAI Password eld. Click and wait for some time for your device to restart. Step 6: Your device is now connected to QUBEE network and you can use your QUBEE connection on the move.

WEB SELF-CARE PORTAL

During your usage of QUBEE connection, you may require specic services or need answers to dierent queries regarding your QUBEE connection. With your QUBEE user name and password you can access a Customer Web Portal called Web Self-Care (WSC) where most of the necessary information about your connection is available.

Here are the things you can do with your WSC: 1: Check your account information 2: Change password 3: Get your bill summary 4: Pay your bill through scratch cards 5: Check your usage details 6: Queries/ complains to customer care Check your account information: Type https://my.qubee.com.bd in your browser window and press Enter. On this page type your user name and password for your Pre Pay or Monthly Package. Select Prole Information option from the Prole tab and check the details of your prole information. If you need to change any of the information follow the instructions explained in the Send queries and complaints to customer care section below.

Change your password: It is recommended that you change your default password as soon as possible after purchase. Select the Change Password option from the Prole tab to do this. Please note that you need to update the new password in your modem after changing the password from Web Self-Care. Please refer to the modem installation process explained above for changing your password. Bill Summary: You can check your bill summary from the Bill Summary option under the prole tab. Payment through Scratch Card: You can pay your bills through scratch cards for your QUBEE Monthly package or Pre Pay connection. The process to recharge through scratch card is explained in the next section. Check your usage details: To check your usage details you need to log out from the Web Self-Care page and in the login page, you will nd a link To see your usage, please click here. Click on that link and you will be redirected to a new page where you need to provide your user name and password. Once you have logged on, select the from date and to date and click generate usage. You will see a full usage details in MB. Please note that this information is not real time.

You are only able to view your usage till 24 hours prior to rell. Send queries and complaints to customer care: You can send complaints and queries to customer care through Customer Query option from Customer Care tab. You need to select the nature of your query and write down the request in the provided eld. You will then get a ticket number. You can request to change your prole information through this tab option. You can track the result of your queries through My Query Status option.

PRE PAY

SCRATCH CARD
How to recharge your Pre Pay connection with your Pre Pay scratch card Step 1: Log on to your Web Self-Care portal (https://my.qubee.comb.bd) with your user name and password. Step 2: Select Recharge Account from the top ribbon. Step 3: Type the SL # and the hidden pin number from the back of the card. To get the hidden pin number gently scratch the covered area of the card.

BILL PAY CARD

How to pay your monthly bill with your Bill Pay card Step 1: Log on to your Web Self-Care portal with your user name and password. Step 2: From the Prole tab in the top ribbon, select Scratch card payment. Step 3: Enter the SL# and the hidden pin number from the scratch card. Gently scratch the covered area behind the scratch card to get the hidden PIN number. Click Pay now to continue. Press OK to conrm the payment.
