The Graduate Trainee Program at Tata Capital

The Graduate Trainee Programme (GT Programme) is Tata Capitals flagship entry level talent acquisition programme. It is especially conceptualized and designed for a fresh graduate and delivered in association with Bhavans Centre for Inter-Disciplinary Studies (BCIDS) in consultation with the S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) in Mumbai.

As part of the residential program at the BCIDS campus in Mumbai, the graduates will undergo an intensive three-month training which provides them with an overview of Financial Services and Management with modules including but not limited to the following: Sales and Distribution Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Macro Economics Retail Finance Corporate Finance Rural Finance Regulations impacting Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) Appraisal & Management of Credit Wealth Management Distribution and Broking

With sessions conducted by experienced BCIDS faculty and senior executives from the organization, the participants get a thorough insight to the Company and its various lines of business. They also get an overview of the Company Culture, Values and Philosophy that are the bedrock for the design and sales of all products and services offered by Tata Capital. These inputs in a classroom setting equip the students with the necessary knowledge prior to being part of the organizational mainstream at the front-line. Through structured modules and planned learning interventions, the program also helps develop necessary skills for success in the corporate environment.

Post successful completion of the program, the graduates are placed in challenging roles in Sales, Credit, Risk and Operations across various Business Units, pan-India.

The Cost to Company for the Graduate Trainee profile at Tata Capital is INR 3.25 lakhs per annum.
