    Trusteeship at the New Ashgate Gallery


    Thank you for your interest in becoming a trustee of the New Ashgate Gallery. It is an enjoyable and rewarding experience and involves coming together with fellow trustees four times a year for Board meetings and supporting the gallery on a more informal basis at other times. Being a trustee means having responsibility for ensuring: The organisation has strategic direction That it is solvent, well-run and delivering against its strategic plan and its charitable objectives. And so means you should be able to: Think strategically Appreciate the current and future external environments Plan creatively Manage performance Resolve conflict Understand financial information In addition to the above, we are particularly interested in those who have financial, IT or/and health & safety skills and experience.
