Design Specifications:
(From Stage 1. Investigate Note: If you already completed the design specification in Stage 1. Investigate, then you can just use it. Otherwise you have to make one) 1. Audience: AISM Student Council 2. Duration of video: The video should be no longer than 3 minutes. 3. Video materials Movable paper drawings, schematic diagrams, illustrations will be used to illustrate the functionalities of the sticky board. 4. Presentation format/style: A combination of stop-motion animation and movie clips using movable paper drawings, illustrations and diagrams will be used to illustrate the process of using an online notice board for group communication and collaboration. An engaging narration (female voice) using non-technical language will be used to explain the process. An upbeat music background will be used. A fast-paced manipulation of the video materials will be done to illustrate the process step by step. Text will also be added to certain scenes to emphasize certain sections of the video. 5. Software/Computer programs Windows Live Moviemaker is the movie editing tool to be used. Audacity will be used to edit voice recording and mixing of background music. 6. Sound and lighting The school headphone will be used for the narration. Study lamps will be used for lighting. 7. Accessibility The informational video in .mp4 format can be uploaded through a video sharing site like Youtube or Vimeo. 8. Video content The online sticky board will have to be tested to be functional before shooting the video. The following features of Linoit sticky boards should be shown in the video: - Movability of sticky notes - Adding hyperlinks, pictures, videos and calendar due dates for tasks - Setting preferences for board/canvass: private, public, group settings, invitations and security - Use with smartphones around the campus

STAGE 2. DESIGN
A. This is the process diagram or flow chart for the online tool (Linoit sticky boards) that I will show in the video.

B. Design Options
I conceptualized 3 designs for my video project. These designs actually show different styles on how I can present the online tool in my video. The 3 video styles/formats are: 1. Common Craft In Plain English style - This is a presentation style in which cut-out papers are used to illustrate or explain a process. 2. RSA Animate style - This is stop-motion animation using drawings or scribblings. 3. Puppet presentation style - I can also use hand/socks puppets to illustrate the process I want to show in the video. I made 3 storyboards to compare the designs/styles. Then, I chose 1 style/design which best satisfies the design specification I wrote.
