This course introduces the basic concepts and important facts about geography and the natural resources of the Philippines. It aims to develop students knowledge, understanding, and analysis of the different regions of the country. It endeavors to develop higher thinking skills in understanding the brief history of the province, culture and tradition, economy, products and livelihood, politics and government and famous natural resources and tourist spots.

II. COURSE GOAL AND OBJECTIVES At the end of the semester, students will be able to: A. Knowing the basic concepts in Geography and Natural resources of the Philippines. B. Developing a wide of the regions in the Philippines. C. Awareness of the significance of geography and natural resources of the Philippines in the life of man. D. Training future teachers how to teach Geography and natural resources in the elementary level. E. Manifesting mastery of factual information concerning Geography and Natural resources of the Philippines.
