Trustee Taxes for Proviso township residents are among the highest in
Cook County and we are not getting a fair return on our

Pat Doolin Proviso Township High School District 209 is failing our
Trustee students, with achievement levels plummeting and students
testing dead last among Illinois high school students, despite
Lennel Grace having a $70,000,000 annual budget and receiving $18,000
Trustee per student from taxpayers, which is nearly double the state
average!
Proviso High School Meanwhile, our Proviso Township government is asking
District 209 residents to pay more in taxes while they pad the payroll with
political cronies. While the average person is asked to do more

with less, our local governments are attempting to do less with

are controlled by Melrose Park Mayor Ron Serpico and Chris
Arbdella “Della” Peterson Welch.

Trustee of Schools We are running against the politics of the status quo – and, if
elected, we will properly spend your tax dollars on vital
John Simpson services and educational programs instead of politically-
connected attorneys and lobbyists.

In order to change Proviso, we will need your help. The Proviso

Progressive Party is hosting a fundraiser, which will be held on
Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Pescatore Palace.

Together we will bring accountability and much needed change

to Proviso.
