Speak to students in real-time using audio via a USB headset (you also can do video/audio if you have a webcam). Share documents with studentsfor example, talk through a PPT, analyze a student text, or any kind of document. Share your computer screen with studentsdemonstrate how to do something.

Watch/listen to the information your provide.

Interact with you and other students via text chat to ask questions, provide feedback, etc. Could present information via audio (if you give them permissionsprobably want to use sparingly) Could interact/work together in real-time without your presence.

Too difficult to get all students together at one time, which is why the record meeting function is highly useful.
May occasionally get delay from the server, problem with your audio etc. Always a good idea to do a test run first with the same computer/equipment. Must use a USB-supported headsetanything else will not work well at all. Make sure students test their browser/machine at the URL on the handout before meeting, but you cant always be sure that they did.
