A Modern Proton Precession Magnetometer

A proton precession magnetometer was built which uses an advanced data analysis technique to decrease the susceptibility to ambient noise. The project uses the Keil MCB2130 board to do the data analysis. A separate board, housing all of the electronics needed for the magnetometer was designed and built. A fast arctangent algorithm was used to do some of the necessary mathematics in real time.
