Go 49ers! I have reviewed the job requirements and feel I will be an excellent candidate. I am a fulltime student with a GPA of 3.375. I have no disciplinary record. I will be thrilled to fill all RA responsibilities and I do not plan to work outside of my RA responsibilities. My curriculum, political science and English, does not require any co-ops, student teaching or nursing clinicals. And I will be more than happy to complete the Peer Leadership Class during my first semester as an RA. My position as a RA will be my principal non-academic activity. I have already pledged and am a member of the Chi Omega sorority; therefore the added responsibility of pledging should not interfere with my responsibilities as an RA. As a Resident Advisor, I look forward to a job that allows me to build relationships while getting to know my residents. I pledge to commit to community building and policy enforcement. I look forward to putting my leadership and people skills to practice. I know I will learn as much from my residents as they will learn from me. My strong connection to the University will provide my residents with a positive living environment. Know that what I lack in experience, I will make up in enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
