For In the modern society must emphasis is being placed on image because image may affect the first impression, links to stereotype, prejudice and creates unfair competitions. Hence image is quite important for one to stand out at the first glance. e.g. South Koreas newspaper agency the Seoul Times once did an survey on how did appearance affect your interview. The result shows that 68% of the people surveyed feel they feel ill-treated by the interviewer because of their appearance. Some 20% of interviewees even said they were insinuated on appearance by the interviewers. In many case, image could reflect some personal trait immediately, like the port folios. E.g. Public Relations or PR is a thriving industry with professionals specializing in building images of companies, persons, charitable organizations and even churches and religious groups. False image may be project to guide people towards certain results and it may be misused. North Korea. In the past, its leader Kim Jung Il has engaged in propaganda to paint a beautiful picture for the people of North Korea, leading them to believe that their country was thriving and prospering, when this was not the case as the people of North Korea faced poverty and famine.

People in Egypt and Libya stand up to fight for their human rights since they were not affected by government propaganda.
