December 2012 board meeting 12/12/12 Call to order: 7:01 PM Board members present: Deborah Lonsdorf (President) Christine Jackson (Treasurer) Jim Speer (Secretary) George Lonsdorf Review of November minutes The minutes from Novembers board meeting were reviewed and approved Treasurer's report Current balances: Savings $2,001.37 Checking $1,060.74 The Treasurer's report was approved George requested that future treasurers reports also show previous month's balance. Chris agrees. Presidents report (none) Website report George reports that the website will now feature a Ricklins Window section, showing current display with credits, and a slideshow of prior displays. This page will also solicit new window dressers. Jim suggests we may consider inviting a local elementary school, such as Merion ES, to produce a themed display. George also reports a trial of the new Our Town Reader, designed to make easier reading of the old Our Town papers. George requests that we try it out and give feedback. Old Business Guest speakers at NCA meetings Georgette (not present at tonights meeting) is working on scheduling Narberth Council President Sam Quinn for a future board meeting date. We are hoping for February. We will solicit topics and questions for Sam from the NCA board. George will contact Victoria Donohoe to ask her if she would attend the January NCA meeting, or a date that is convenient for her.
