The purpose of this study is to see the implementation of poverty Reduction Program of PKPU as an amil zakat institution and propose future strategies For profesional amil zakat institution can exist in the future. The Study is conducted at the PKPU The national humanitarian Institute which is based in Jakarta, where the institution is an institution that pioneer of the establishment of a professional amil zakat intuition in Indonesia. PKPU also received recognition from the united Nation as an international NGO. Research is devoted and specialized to the poverty reduction which is one of PKPUs programs. This type of research uses a quantitative approach through the interview method, literature review and documents that complete the research strengths. The study found that the implementation of poverty reduction Programs has been done through the method (1) Individual, (2) group, (3) community and (4) network. Provision of both technical or mental improvement. Programs that run was felt not effective. This happens because the poverty reduction programs is one of the many programs of PKPU, where PKPU is more concentrated on human services such as natural disasters and others so the PKPUs portion to the poverty programs was only a little. In order to survive in the era of free competition, so when it is analyzed through a SWOT analysis is so it is suggested as follows: (1) Accelerate network expansion and retail sales, (2) Working overseas donation, BUMN (state owned) and the government with more massive campaign to form a network for shared and equal in the cultivation poverty, (3) Socialization of PKPUs neutrality, (4) Strengthening the brand and create a shared imaging program, (5) The more focused and comprehensive program, (6) Being a market leader, (7) The establishment of a creative teams.
