Watched Joyce Meyers 'Doubt' and picked up a nugget: Faith is the only thing that overcomes fear.

Fear is not going to go away. When God says 'Fear not', he's not telling us to fear FEAR. When you feel fear, don't run; keep going forward in doing what I tell you to do. Because the Word fear means to take flight or run away. That's why Hebrews 10 says "Do not SHRINK BACK in fear'. When fear comes, we start backing off, we start running back. When the Israelites became afraid in the wilderness, they would run back to Egypt. You may feel fear in your life, you may shake or feel nervous. But it doesnt mean that you can't do what God asks you to do. You're not a coward bec you feel fear; it is when you give in to it. God did not give us the spirit of fear, He did not give us the Holy Spirit to keep it in bondage to fear, but to deliver us from it. But youll never be free from fear if you do not stand up to it.. Fear is the feeling with all probablity will never completely disappear in your life. But You can learn to do it afraid.

Ps 17: v14 LORD, by your hand (take them) from the earth. Remove them from the world. Their reward is in this life. You give plenty of food to the people that you love. Their sons also have plenty. They will give much to their children. v15 And I, because I am righteous, I will see your face, (LORD). It will be enough for me when I awake. Then I will really see you.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 New International Version (NIV)

7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
