1. How many times do you have to compose a function to reach the fixed point? 2.

Is there a way to show the iteration of a function using a graph? 3. How is iteration different from limits? 4. Is there a way to find the fixed point without doing calculations? 5. Can we generalize the fixed point given the parent function? 6. Does it also converge to 1? If no, is there a different pattern it follows? 7. Do other operations change the outcome? 8. What happens when we use imaginary numbers? 9. Why does sqrt(x3) converge mathematically (on a calculator) but diverge graphically? 10. Do all functions have a fixed point? 11. Do all numbers converge to 1, even decimals? 12. How can you determine if there is a limit? 13. If x=12 as a fixed point, find the function that generates this result. 14. Can you have no fixed points, or does infinity count as a fixed point? 15. How can you tell whether a function has a fixed point or not ex. Tan(x) 16. Does inverses play a role in determining fixed points? 17. Will we be able to find the value of the fixed point for any given function? 18. Is there a way to determine which function and input will result in a fixed point and which will never converge? What properties cause this? 19. What is the relation between a function, its sequence that it generates, and its series? What is the purpose of finding a functions related sequence its series? What do these tell us about the functions properties?(Kelsey, Casey, Brady, and Emily) 20. After repeated iterations, functions will change in linear character. For example, converges to 1 for various values (as in the vignette), which is a line. For other functions and values, can we evaluate the linear character and the change in the linear character (the derivative) to determine whether it will converge or diverge? For example, it seems like if a function becomes linear after repeated iterations, it will converge to a number, but if it never converges and its change in slope consistently increases (or decreases or stays the same), then it seems like it will diverge. Does this observation help us determine any properties of the original function? Is it useful in some way? Can we use derivatives to find some kind of useful pattern based on the type of function?
