D. PROCEDURE I. The characteristic of image produced 1. Prepare an e letter specimen and set the microscope to lowest magnification 2. Obtain a focused image of the e letter 3. Sketch what you see 4. Record the magnification used

II. The area of field of view 1. Set the microscope to the lowest magnification 2. Put a ruler on the steage of microscope 3. Obtain a focused image of the ruler scale in the field of view. You will see an image like the figure 1. 4. Sketch what you seeand record the magnification used 5.
