Janet Vineyard is the Executive Director president of the West Virginia Trucking Association.

Her responsibilities include helping members increase their effectiveness and profitability, promoting business ethics and a positive image for the organizations members, assisting with government relations activities and lobbying, and coordination of events such as the annual Truck Driving Championship. Her extensive business experience includes working for Ashland Oil Inc. from 1978 to 1993, where she was involved in supplies, transportation, and sales. In 1993, MrsMs. Vineyard became the Executive executive Director director of West Virginia Petroleum Marketers and the West Virginia Association of Convenience Stores, who both merged to form the West Virginia Oil Marketers and Grocers Association (OMEGA) in 1996. In 2006, when OMEGA entered into a joint venture with the West Virginia Motor Truck Association, she was named president of both organizations. In 2006, OMEGA entered into a joint venture with the West Virginia Motor Truck Association and Mrs. Vineyard was named as the President of both organizations. In her current capacity, she is responsible for membership, lobbying, education, as well as all activities of the Association. From 1978 to 1993, she worked for Ashland Oil Inc., where she was involved in supplies, transportation and sales. She presently serves as the Chairman chairman of the West Virginia Business and Industry Council, and is a member of the Board boards of Directors directors for West Virginians For Better Transportation and the Petroleum Marketers Association of America. A registered Lobbyistlobbyist, she was named one of the Top Ten Lobbyists by The State Journal in 2005. Mrs. Vineyard earned an associates degree in Retailing retailing and a bachelors degree in business administration in Marketing marketing and Transportation transportation from Marshall University in 1978, attaining her M.B.AMBA. in 1987. She currently serves on the Marshall University College of Business Advisory Board.
