MISBEHAVIOURS IN ENGLISH CLASS

Group Members: Salmiah binti Jalil Faridah Hanum binti Mat Saman Maria binti Mahmood

* Problem 1 -Doing something else during lesson (interfere with the teaching activities) e.g. playing games, doing other subject homework *Why it happened? -Not interested with the subject -bad impression towards the teacher -time management(lack of parents attention , attend many tuition classes). *Problem Solving -stand by them quickly to stop disruptive behaviour without the lesson. -prepare interesting activities and teaching aids -sent them to counseling teacher

*Problem 2 -Little respect for or destroying property e.g. broke the chair and table, tear up the articles on the bulletin board *Why it happened? -unsatisfied because of personal problem/teachers/friends -influence by friends *Problem Solving -prepare a class rules and make them obey the rules -personal advice -maintain good control over verbal and non-verbal language, -intonation, facial expression to positive leading techniques.

Problem 3 -Truancy class e.g. spend more time to the toilet, bookshop rather than sitting in the class. *Why it happened? -Lack of attention at home/teacher -bad impression towards the teacher *Problem Solving -discuss with parents -give some types of job in class (e.g. reading announcement, reading questions out loud to help them turn to positive attitude.

Problem 4 -impolite manners e.g. spit in the class, throwing rubbish/things, arguing and answering back *Why it happened? -Not interested with the subject -spoiled *Problem Solving -personal advice -sent them to counseling teacher

Problem 5 -make foolish jokes e.g. teasing fathers name *Why it happened? -attempt to be popular in class *Problem Solving -stand by them quickly to stop disruptive behaviour without the lesson. - Encourage and involve them in learning activities e.g. let them to read the passage, distribute the worksheets -

Problem 6 -create clique in the class e.g. does not want to work/cooperate with other friends *Why it happened? -selfish -choosy *Problem Solving -rotate group members
