Overview

With the Application Server 10g release we added several new products to our integration
offering and more are planned. The following is a simple description of each of the
components of the Oracle ntegration platform.

OracIe AppIication Server 10g Integration Interconnect: Oracle's Enterprise Service Bus,
Oracle ntegration nterconnect provides a complete framework to integrate heterogeneous
environments including Enterprise Applications, Legacy Systems, and Databases. t provides
a distributed, scalable, low cost and easy to use product for quickly deploying integration
solutions. Oracle nterconnect is optimized for Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite)
integration as well as high-speed data synchronization across
systems/databases/applications.

OracIe BPEL Process Manager: enables enterprises to design, deploy and monitor BPEL
processes. t is a composed of an easy-to-use BPEL designer, a scalable BPEL engine with
an extensible WSDL binding framework, and a comprehensive monitoring console. t is a
standalone package available for eclipse today and JDeveloper in the future. t can run on
other popular applications servers in addition to OC4J such as Jboss, WebLogic and
Websphere.

OracIe AppIication Server 10g Integration B2B (Business to Business): provides B2B
functionality for companies to interact with their Trading Partners. The base product provides
Trading Partner Management, the ability to develop custom protocols, and to support
different document types. t also has built in support for UCCNet and AS/2.
Support for common industry protocols such as RosettaNet, ED(X12 and EDFacts) are
available through separately sold B2B adapters. .

OracIeAS AppIication Server 10g Integration BAM (Business Activity Monitoring):
provides facilities to monitor Business Activities across your enterprise. BAM has the ability to
collect events from all the integration components nterConnect, BPEL Process Manager,
BPM, B2B and adapters. Events can be used to generate metrics and Key Performance
ndicators (KP) that are critical to monitoring the enterprise. t also comes with a
customizable web based dashboard and an analysis and alerting framework.

OracIe AppIication Server 10g Adapters: provides adapters for Packaged Applications
such as SAP and Siebel, and adapters for Legacy Systems such as CCS and MS. Adapters
are sold separately and can be used with OC4J, Portal, nterConnect, BPM and BPEL.
