Welcome Hope Taking Another look at Suicide Prevention for Military Veterans

As suicides among military personnel have increased at an alarming rate, it is vital that we are educated about the unique stressors and trauma impacting this population. Learning Objectives: 1) Review and Update contributing factors that lead to suicidal thoughts and attempts by Military Veterans 2) Take a look at how we as professionals currently address suicide prevention and where we need to go in helping reduce this tragic epidemic of suicides among our military veterans. 3) Develop steps to update our resources and strategies in order to increase a sense of hope for military veterans considering suicide and thus reduce suicides.
