Plagiarism is a serious academic offence. Students who are guilty of this offence invite serious consequences e.g. the paper/exam/printout will be confiscated and the work will be given a mark of zero. Those students who allow their work to be copied are equally guilty of plagiarism and are also subject to the same consequences. Homework: There is homework in this course. You will not be able to finish all of the assigned work during the regular class period, so plan on spending extra time to review notes etc. General Classroom Policies: 1. Attendance is very important to this course and if you will be absent from class it will be YOUR responsibility to find out what work you have missed and complete the assignments. 3. Computer problems, printer problems and disk problems are not an acceptable excuse for incomplete or missing assignments. It is your responsibility to save your work correctly and to allow enough time for reprints, printer errors etc. 5. No food or drink (other than water) may be consumed in the classroom.
