Ben the young man who was the other deckhand pointed out a headline to me in the newspaper that Danny Way a skateboarder had jumped The Great Wall of China. Later when I learned how to surf the internet, I watched the stunt on youtube. I was amazed at the size of the ramp that was constructed and expected him to clear the gap successfully no problem, but when I saw the first attempt fail and Danny break his ankle after impacting the ramps landing deck I was shocked. Then for him to again attempt the stunt with such a serious injury and succeed with a spin in the air and the finish on the opposite halfpipe mass high gave my much respect for Danny Way. To me that is why he will always be a figure of achievement through adversity. TJM
